Dave Goelz

Dave Goelz is an American puppeteer, actor, and puppet builder. He is best known for his work with the Muppets, where he performs iconic characters such as Gonzo the Great, Dr. Bunsen Honeydew, and Waldorf. He also originated roles in Fraggle Rock, The Dark Crystal, and Labyrinth. Goelz's talent extends beyond puppeteering, as he provided the voice for Figment in the Journey into Imagination with Figment attraction at Epcot. Born in Los Angeles, California, Goelz developed a passion for puppetry at a young age. Despite initially pursuing a career in industrial design, he found his true calling with the Muppets and has since become a beloved figure in the entertainment industry.
