Dave Hill Biography
Dave Hill is an English rock musician and actor. He was born on April 4, 1946, in Holbeton, Devon. Hill is best known as the lead guitarist, backing vocalist, and sole continuous member of the English band Slade. He gained recognition for his flamboyant stage clothes and hairstyle. Hill attended Springdale Junior School and Highfields Secondary school in Wolverhampton. He bought his first guitar from a mail-order catalogue and received guitar lessons from a science teacher. Prior to joining Slade, Hill played with various bands, including The Vendors and The N' Betweens. In addition to his music career, Hill has also appeared in movies and TV shows.
