Dave Salmoni

Dave Salmoni is a Canadian animal trainer, entertainer, and television producer. Born on September 4, 1975, Salmoni has dedicated his life to animal conservation. He studied zoology at Laurentian University in Sudbury, Ontario, where he wrote his undergraduate thesis on tracking the hibernation of Alaskan black bears. Salmoni is certified in Biological Immobilization of Wildlife and has worked on various wildlife projects, including an elk relocation project and a pigdeer count station for the Ministry of Natural Resources. He is the founder of Triosphere, a production company based in South Africa that specializes in wildlife films. Salmoni is married to HGTV personality Debra Salmoni and they have two children. He currently resides in Toronto.
