Dave Wasson

Dave Wasson is an American animator, storyboard artist, director, producer, writer, and voice actor. He was born on September 11, 1968. Wasson graduated from the California Institute of the Arts with a B.F.A. He is best known for creating the Cartoon Network original series Time Squad and developing Star vs. the Forces of Evil, where he serves as a director, writer, and executive producer. Wasson has also worked on the series Mickey Mouse Shorts, where he has co-written, storyboarded, and directed several episodes. He was the supervising director of Making Fiends and the executive producer and director of The Buzz on Maggie. Wasson is also the author and illustrator of the children's book The Big Ideas of Buster Bickles. Currently, he is the developer and executive producer of The Cuphead Show! for Netflix.
