    David A. Goodman Biography
    David A. Goodman is an American writer, producer, and president of the Writers Guild of America West. He has contributed to various television series including The Golden Girls, where he began his career, Futurama, where he served as a co-executive producer and wrote the well-known Star Trek parody episode 'Where No Fan Has Gone Before,' and Star Trek: Enterprise. Goodman also produced Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story and wrote the films Fred: The Movie and its sequel, Fred 2: Night of the Living Fred. In 2022, he wrote the critically-acclaimed film Honor Society for Paramount+. Goodman graduated from the University of Chicago with a BA in 1984 and is of Jewish descent. He is recognized for his extensive knowledge of the original Star Trek series.
