    David Angell Biography
    David Lawrence Angell (April 10, 1946 – September 11, 2001) was an American screenwriter and television producer, best known for his work in sitcoms. He co-created and served as the executive producer of the popular sitcoms Wings and Frasier, winning multiple Emmy Awards for his contributions. Angell was born in Providence, Rhode Island and graduated from Providence College with a bachelor's degree in English literature. After serving in the U.S. Army at the Pentagon, he worked as a methods analyst in Boston and later at an insurance firm in Rhode Island. Tragically, Angell and his wife Lynn were killed in the September 11 attacks while aboard American Airlines Flight 11.
