David Bisbal

David Bisbal Ferre (born 5 June 1979) is a Spanish singer, songwriter, and actor. He gained fame as a runner-up on the reality TV show Operación Triunfo. Bisbal has released five studio albums, all of which topped the Spanish Albums Chart. He has toured extensively in Europe and Latin America, and is now considered a crossover international artist. With over six million records sold in Spain and America, Bisbal has received 69 platinum albums, 20 gold albums, and two diamond albums. His albums Corazón Latino and Bulería have each achieved an IFPI Platinum Award, selling over one million copies across Europe. Born in Almería, Spain, Bisbal comes from a family with a background in boxing and flamenco music.
