David Castro is an American actor born on February 7, 1996, known for his role as Raphael Santiago on the Freeform fantasy series Shadowhunters. Castro made his acting debut in the 2004 film Palindromes and later appeared in independent films such as A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints, Little Fugitive, Tracks of Color, and Where God Left His Shoes. He also had roles in the films 27 Dresses and The Ministers. Castro currently resides in Long Island, New York and is of Puerto Rican and Italian descent. He played the character Raphael Santiago in the television series Shadowhunters from 2016 to 2019.
