David Duchovny
David William Duchovny (born August 7, 1960) is an American actor, writer, producer, and musician. He rose to prominence for his portrayal of FBI agent Fox Mulder on the television series The X-Files (1993–2002, 2016-2018), earning him a Golden Globe award. Duchovny also played the writer Hank Moody on the television series Californication (2007–2014), which also garnered him a Golden Globe award. He appeared in both X-Files films and executive-produced and starred in the cop drama Aquarius (2015–2016). Duchovny has had minor roles in films such as Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead (1991) and Beethoven (1992), and starred in Return to Me (2000), Evolution (2001), Connie and Carla (2004), and House of D (2004).
