David Groh Biography
David Groh (May 21, 1939 – February 12, 2008) was an American actor known for his role as Joe Gerard in the 1970s TV series Rhoda. Born in Brooklyn, New York, he attended Brooklyn Technical High School and later graduated from Brown University with a degree in English literature. Groh trained at the American Shakespeare Theatre and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art on a Fulbright scholarship. He served in the United States Army from 1963 to 1964. Groh made his television debut in Dark Shadows and gained prominence through his role in Rhoda. He also appeared in other TV shows and movies throughout his career.
