David Hayman Biography
David Hayman (born 9 February 1948) is a Scottish film, television, and stage actor and director. He has appeared in numerous notable films including Sid and Nancy (1986), Hope and Glory (1987), Rob Roy (1995), and The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas (2008). Hayman has also had recurring roles in TV series such as Trial & Retribution (1997-2009), The Paradise (2012), Taboo (2017), and Bull (2021). He is set to appear in the upcoming TV series Andor (2022). Born in Bridgeton, Glasgow, Scotland, Hayman grew up in Drumchapel and started his career as an apprentice electrician in the shipyards. Despite having no family background in acting, he joined a local amateur dramatics group and pursued a successful career in the entertainment industry.
