    David Ignatius Biography
    David Ignatius (born May 26, 1950) is an American journalist and novelist. He currently works as an associate editor and columnist for The Washington Post. Ignatius has authored eleven novels, including Body of Lies, which was adapted into a film by director Ridley Scott. He has also served as a former adjunct lecturer at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University and is currently a Senior Fellow to the Future of Diplomacy Program. Ignatius was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and is of Armenian, German, and English descent. He attended St. Albans School in Washington, D.C., and later graduated from Harvard College with a focus on political theory.
