David Lonsdale

David Lonsdale (born 21 May 1963) is an English actor best known for his portrayal of David Stockwell in the ITV period police drama series Heartbeat. He first gained prominence in 1986 when he played Peter Barlow in Coronation Street, later returning to the show on two separate occasions. Lonsdale has also appeared in other television series such as Inspector Morse, Casualty, Emmerdale, Vera, The Bay, and Anne. With his versatile acting skills, Lonsdale has taken on various roles throughout his career, often playing policemen or detective characters.
