David Monahan

David Harold Monahan (born August 13, 1971) is an American actor. He is best known for his recurring roles in the television series Crossing Jordan as Detective Matt Seely and Dawson's Creek as Tobey Barret. Monahan has also appeared in notable films such as The Last Supper (2000), The Mostly Unfabulous Social Life of Ethan Green (2005), and Something New (2006). Additionally, he made a guest appearance in the Supernatural episode 'Houses of the Holy'. Born in North Olmsted, Ohio, Monahan graduated from Harvard University with an honor degree in government. He is married to actor Larry Sullivan, and the couple has one adopted child together. Monahan and Sullivan were featured in a Campbell's Soup ad released in 2015.
