David Nykl

David Nykl (born February 7, 1967) is a Czech-Canadian actor known for his work in film, television, commercials, and theater. He gained recognition for his portrayal of Dr. Radek Zelenka in the SyFy television series Stargate Atlantis and Anatoly Knyazev in the DC Comics series Arrow. Born in Prague, Czechoslovakia, Nykl and his family immigrated to Canada after the Soviet invasion in 1968. While briefly attending the University of British Columbia, he studied liberal arts and marketing. Nykl has appeared in numerous theater, film, and television productions in Vancouver and Prague, showcasing his versatility and depth as an actor. He has also co-founded Prague's Misery Loves Company Theatre in 1994.
