David Omoregie

David Omoregie is a Welsh track and field hurdler born on 1 November 1995. He competes in the 110 metres hurdles and holds a personal best of 13.24 seconds for the event, making him the fifth fastest among British hurdlers. Omoregie has achieved notable success in his career, setting world junior and European junior records in the 60 metres hurdles indoor. He won a bronze medal at the 2014 World Junior Championships in Athletics and emerged victorious at the 2015 European Athletics U23 Championships. Omoregie began his athletics journey at a young age, participating in combined track and field events. He hails from Durham, England, with both of his parents originally from Nigeria. Despite personal tragedies, he remained dedicated to his athletic pursuits and academics, earning five A stars in his GCSEs in 2011.
