David Patrick Kelly Biography
David Patrick Kelly is an American actor, musician, and lyricist. Born on January 23, 1951, in Detroit, Michigan, Kelly has had a versatile career in film and television. He gained recognition for his role as Luther, the main antagonist in the cult film The Warriors (1979). Kelly has collaborated with Spike Lee in films such as Malcolm X (1992), Crooklyn (1994), and Chi-Raq (2015), as well as with David Lynch in Wild at Heart (1990) and Twin Peaks (1990–91) and its 2017 revival. Other notable credits include 48 Hrs. (1982), Commando (1985), The Crow (1994), and The Longest Yard (2005). Kelly has appeared in The Blacklist (2015) in a recurring role.
