David Prosho

Dave Prosho, born in 1965 in Leicestershire, is an English actor. He pursued his passion for drama and studied at the University of Winchester, graduating from the Drama, Theatre and Television Studies course in 1986. Prosho gained recognition for his portrayal of DC Ian Mitchell in the popular TV series Scott & Bailey. He has showcased his talent in various other dramas, including The Syndicate, Queer as Folk, Phoenix Nights, The Cops, The Second Coming, and The Vice. Additionally, Prosho has appeared in three Peter Kosminsky dramas: Walking on the Moon, Britz, and the BAFTA-winning The Government Inspector. Alongside his acting career, he has also worked in education and currently serves as the headteacher at Beechcliffe Special School in Thackley, Bradford.
