David Ramsey

David Paul Ramsey (born November 17, 1971) is an American actor and director. He gained recognition for his roles in various popular television shows, including The CW Arrowverse series Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, and Batwoman, where he portrayed the character John Diggle / Spartan. Ramsey also appeared as Bass Reeves in Legends of Tomorrow and as an alternate universe version of Diggle in Superman & Lois. He played the role of Anton Briggs in the Showtime TV series Dexter and starred in the film Mother and Child (2009) as Joseph. Prior to his television career, Ramsey starred in the UPN sitcom Good News and portrayed Muhammad Ali in the Fox television film Ali: An American Hero. He has also had recurring roles in several other shows, including All of Us, One on One, The West Wing, and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
