David Rees Snell

David Rees Snell is an American actor known for his roles in various television shows and movies. He gained recognition for his portrayal of Detective Ronnie Gardocki in the crime drama series The Shield. Snell also appeared as Detective John Burrows in S.W.A.T. (2018–present) and played the character of Paul in the film The Beacon (2009). He began his acting career primarily in theater before transitioning to television. Despite initially being hired for a non-speaking role on The Shield, Snell's character became a permanent member of the tactical unit known as The Strike Team and appeared in almost every episode. Snell's talent and screen time expanded, leading him to become a full-time cast member for the remainder of the series. He has also co-starred in the Hallmark TV movie Desolation Canyon (2006).
