David Sant (born 1968) is a Spanish mime artist, acrobat, puppeteer, stuntman, director, actor, and writer. Sant discovered his passion for theatre at the age of seventeen, thanks to his literature teacher. In the early nineties, he moved to the UK and began performing as a mime artist, acrobat, puppeteer, and stuntman. His exceptional skills and directing abilities earned him numerous awards at international festivals. In 2006, the BBC recognized his talents and invited him to showcase his comedy skills on television, leading to a successful career directing sitcoms and comedy dramas. Sant is most recognized for his role as Cartoon Head in the British television show Ideal and for playing the title role and other male characters in the revival of Pingu. Additionally, he has directed various television series, including Jonathan Creek, Benidorm, and Stella. Sant's undeniable talent extends to theatrical roles as well.
