David Tom Biography
David Tom is an American actor best known for his role as Billy Abbott on the CBS soap opera The Young and the Restless. He portrayed Billy from 1999 to 2002, and then again in 2014. Tom has received several nominations and awards throughout his career, including two Daytime Emmy nominations for 'Outstanding Younger Actor' and a win in 2000. He also won a Soap Opera Digest Award for 'Outstanding Male Newcomer' in 2000. In addition to his soap opera work, Tom has appeared in films such as Stepfather III, Stay Tuned, and Swing Kids. He returned to the role of Billy Abbott in 2014, taking over from Billy Miller.
