David Ury

David Brian Ury is an American actor, stand-up comedian, YouTuber, and Japanese translation specialist. Born and raised in Sonoma, California, Ury discovered his passion for acting while participating in theatre productions at Sonoma Valley High School. He went on to earn a bachelor's degree in linguistics at Evergreen State College and became fluent in Japanese during his study abroad in Japan. Ury is also a descendant of German Jewish impressionist painter Lesser Ury. In addition to his work as a translator in film, television, and manga, Ury has built a successful career as both a stand-up comedian and actor, known for portraying a wide range of characters. He has appeared in various film and television projects, showcasing his versatility and talent.
