David Valdes

David Valdes (born August 12, 1950) is an American film producer known for his work in the western genre and his collaborations with Clint Eastwood. He began his career as an assistant director and had minor roles in films such as Oh, God! Book II and Tightrope. Valdes became friends with Eastwood after working together on Tightrope and went on to serve as associate producer and assistant director on films like Pale Rider, The Dead Pool, and Unforgiven. He received an Oscar nomination for The Green Mile, which he produced alongside director Frank Darabont. Valdes has also produced science fiction films such as The Time Machine and Babylon A.D.
