David Wohl Biography
David Wohl is an American comic book writer and editor, best known for his work at Marvel Comics and Top Cow Productions. He started his career as a high school intern at Marvel Comics and quickly rose through the ranks to become an assistant editor on popular titles like Spider-Man and X-Men. Eventually, he was promoted to managing editor. In 1993, Wohl left Marvel to join Top Cow Productions, where he served as editor-in-chief and executive vice president. During his time at Top Cow, he co-created and wrote iconic comic book franchises such as The Darkness, Witchblade, and Aphrodite IX. Additionally, Wohl worked as a producer on the Witchblade television series. In 2003, he joined Tiger Hill Entertainment as creative director, collaborating with John Woo on projects like Demonik and Stranglehold.
