Dean Cain Biography
Dean George Cain (born July 31, 1966) is an American actor known for his role as Clark Kent/Superman in the TV series Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman from 1993 to 1997. Born in Mount Clemens, Michigan, Cain is of partly Japanese descent, with Welsh, Irish, and French Canadian ancestry. His mother, Sharon Thomas, moved him and his brother to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career. In 1969, she married film director Christopher Cain, who adopted Dean and his brother. Cain has also hosted Ripley's Believe It or Not! and appeared in the sports drama series Hit the Floor.
