Deborah Offner Biography
Deborah Offner (born August 7, 1959) is an American actress, songwriter, playwright, and theatre director. She was born in New York City and is the daughter of Mortimer Offner, a photographer, screenwriter, and TV and theatre director, and Pauline Offner, a photography editor. Offner attended Sarah Lawrence College and NYU School of the Arts, and after graduating, she pursued a career in theatre, appearing in various productions on and off Broadway. In addition to her work on stage, Offner has also appeared in films such as 'A Small Circle of Friends' (1980) and 'Ghost Story' (1981), and on television shows including 'Orange Is the New Black,' 'Top Five,' 'ER,' and 'Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.'
