Deborah Roberts

Deborah Ann Roberts (born September 20, 1960) is an American television journalist known for her work at ABC News. Born in Perry, Georgia, Roberts graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Journalism in 1982. She began her career at local television stations in Georgia and Tennessee before joining WFTV in Orlando, Florida as a bureau chief, NASA field reporter, and weekend news co-anchor from 1987 to 1990. In 1990, Roberts joined NBC News as a general-assignment reporter and later became a correspondent for Dateline NBC. Since 1995, she has been a correspondent for ABC News, covering a wide range of stories and earning recognition for her work.
