Dee Wallace Biography
Dee Wallace (born December 14, 1948) is an American actress known for her roles in various movies and TV shows. She gained fame for her role as Mary Taylor in the 1982 blockbuster film E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. Wallace has also made a name for herself in the horror genre, starring in films such as The Hills Have Eyes (1977), The Howling (1981), Cujo (1983), and Critters (1986). She was born in Kansas City, Kansas and attended Wyandotte High School and the University of Kansas. Before pursuing acting, she briefly taught high school drama. Wallace was married to Barry Wallace and later to Christopher Stone, with whom she had a daughter named Gabrielle Stone. In addition to her acting career, she is a public speaker and self-help author.
