Dena Dietrich (December 4, 1928 – November 21, 2020) was an American actress known for her work in both television and film. Born in Pittsburgh, Dietrich gained recognition for her portrayal of Mother Nature in a series of 30-second Chiffon margarine commercials from 1971 to 1979. On television, she played notable roles such as Grace Peterson in Adam's Rib, Dena Madison in Karen, and Estelle Milner in Paul Sand in Friends and Lovers. Dietrich also appeared in films like The Wild Party (1975), Disney's The North Avenue Irregulars (1979), and History of the World, Part I (1981) directed by Mel Brooks. She also had a successful career on Broadway.
