Denis Arndt

Denis Arndt is an American actor, born on November 23, 1939. He is best known for his starring role as Alex Priest in the play Heisenberg, which earned him a 2017 Tony Award nomination for Best Actor in a Play. Prior to his acting career, Arndt served as a United States Army helicopter pilot during the Vietnam War, where he received a Purple Heart and Commendation Medal. After the war, he worked as a helicopter pilot in Alaska before pursuing a degree at the University of Washington. Arndt then joined the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and completed 15 seasons there. He was also a charter member of Seattle's Intiman Theater. In addition to his stage work, Arndt has made guest appearances on various television shows including The Good Fight, Grey's Anatomy, Supernatural, and Vanished.
