Denis Colin Leary is an American actor and comedian born on August 18, 1957, in Massachusetts. He gained popularity as a stand-up comedian, appearing on MTV and releasing stand-up specials such as No Cure for Cancer (1993) and Lock 'n Load (1997). Leary transitioned to film and television in the 1990s, with notable roles in movies like Judgment Night (1993), Gunmen (1994), Operation Dumbo Drop (1995), and Wag the Dog (1997). In the 2000s, he created and starred in the TV show The Job (2001–2002) and co-created and starred in Rescue Me (2004–2011), earning Primetime Emmy nominations.
