Denis O'Hare

Denis Patrick Seamus O'Hare (born January 17, 1962) is an American actor, singer, and author. He gained recognition for his award-winning performances in the plays Take Me Out and Sweet Charity. O'Hare is best known for portraying vampire king Russell Edgington on HBO's fantasy series True Blood. He has also appeared in supporting roles in films such as Charlie Wilson's War, Milk, Changeling, and Dallas Buyers Club. O'Hare has been a part of the FX anthology series American Horror Story, earning Emmy nominations for his roles in the first season (American Horror Story: Murder House), third season (American Horror Story: Coven), and fourth season (American Horror Story: Freak Show). He received critical acclaim for his performance as Liz Taylor in American Horror Story: Hotel.
