Dennis Boutsikaris

Dennis Boutsikaris (born December 21, 1952) is an American actor and audiobook narrator. He is a recipient of the Obie Award, having won it twice. Boutsikaris has also garnered recognition as a narrator, winning 13 Golden Earphone Awards and 8 Audie Awards. His reading of The Gene earned him the Best Audiobook of the Year award from Amazon. Born in Newark, New Jersey, to a Greek American father and Jewish mother, Boutsikaris grew up in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey. He discovered his passion for acting while in high school and later attended Hampshire College. Boutsikaris has appeared in numerous films, including *batteries not included, The Dream Team, Crocodile Dundee II, and Money Monster, among others.
