Dennis Kucinich

Dennis John Kucinich (born October 8, 1946) is an American politician and former U.S. Representative from Ohio's 10th congressional district. He also served as the mayor of Cleveland from 1977 to 1979. Known for his liberal views, Kucinich ran for president in the 2004 and 2008 Democratic primaries. During his campaigns, he advocated for ending the Iraq War, implementing a single-payer health care system, and impeaching Vice President Dick Cheney. Although he did not win the nomination, he remained a prominent voice in progressive politics. Throughout his political career, Kucinich fought to protect the interests of working-class Americans and championed progressive policies.
