Derek Fisher
Derek Lamar Fisher, born August 9, 1974, is an American professional basketball coach and former player. He played in the NBA for 18 seasons, primarily with the Los Angeles Lakers, where he won five NBA championships. Fisher also played for the Golden State Warriors, Utah Jazz, Oklahoma City Thunder, and Dallas Mavericks. In college, he played for the Arkansas–Little Rock Trojans and was named the Sun Belt Conference Player of the Year in 1996. Fisher was selected by the Lakers in the 1996 NBA draft and played with them for eight seasons, winning three consecutive championships. He also served as president of the National Basketball Players Association (NBPA).
