Derek Griffiths Biography
Derek Griffiths, born on July 15, 1946, is a British actor, singer, and voice artist. He gained recognition for his appearances in various British children's television series from the 1960s to the present. Griffiths became well-known through his role in Play School alongside Chloe Ashcroft, Johnny Ball, and Brian Cant. An accomplished multi-instrumentalist, he provided the voice and sang the theme tune for Heads and Tails, a BBC Television series featuring short animal films. Additionally, Griffiths sang and played the theme tune for the cartoon Bod. He also appeared in Granada Television's 1980s series Film Fun, portraying the entire staff of a cinema. Griffiths has made notable contributions to television drama as well.
