Derek McGrath (born June 4, 1951) is a Canadian actor and writer known for his roles in various TV shows and movies. He was born in Timmins, Ontario and his career took off with his portrayal of Linus in You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown. McGrath is recognized for his performances as Andy Schroeder in Cheers, Oswald Valentine in Dallas, Dr. Benjamin Jeffcoate in My Secret Identity, Crewman Chell in Star Trek: Voyager, and Dr. Derek Hebert in Doc. He has also appeared in Married... with Children, Family Matters, and the film Freaked. McGrath's voice acting credits include Spiff in Iggy Arbuckle and Melvin in Bob & Doug.
