Derek Theler (born October 29, 1986) is an American actor and model. He began his acting career in 2009 with minor roles in TV series like The Middle, Cougar Town, and The Hills. Theler has also appeared as a model in various TV commercials for brands such as Coke Zero, State Farm, Nike, Kayak.com, Arby's, and Verizon. In 2012, he landed his first major role as Danny Wheeler in the ABC Family comedy Baby Daddy. Theler has also starred in the web series Project S.E.R.A and the movie Shark Killer, released in 2015. Apart from acting, he has also worked as a writer and executive producer for the short film Intrusion.
