Dermot O'Leary Biography
Dermot O'Leary, born Seán Dermot Fintan O'Leary on May 24, 1973, is an English television and radio presenter. He began his radio career as a disc jockey at Essex Radio and went on to work for ITV and BBC Radio 2. O'Leary is best known for his role as the presenter of The X Factor (UK) on ITV, which he held from 2007 until its final series in 2018. In addition to his work on The X Factor, O'Leary currently presents ITV's This Morning on Fridays, school holidays, and bank holidays alongside Alison Hammond. He was born in Colchester, Essex, to Irish parents and holds Irish citizenship.
