Derry Power

Derry Power (born 1935) is an Irish actor from Dublin. He gained recognition for his role as Seamus Finnegan in the BBC Television sitcom The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin. With a long stage career, Power has appeared in numerous plays at the Abbey Theatre. He has also made appearances in TV series such as Z-Cars and Ballykissangel, as well as various Irish films. Notable film credits include Educating Rita (1983), My Left Foot (1989), and Far and Away (1992). Power starred in The Quiet Land alongside Des Keogh in 2016 at Bewley's Theatre Café in Dublin. Additionally, he appeared in Super Gran as o Finnegan in 1985.
