Desiigner

Desiigner, born Sidney Royel Selby III on May 3, 1997, is an American rapper and singer. He gained recognition with his debut single 'Panda' in December 2015, which reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100. Desiigner subsequently signed to Kanye West's GOOD Music and Def Jam Recordings, but later became an independent artist in 2019. His follow-up single 'Tiimmy Turner' peaked at number 34 on the Billboard Hot 100. Desiigner, of Afro-Barbadian and African American descent, was raised in the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York. He began his musical career at the age of 14 and is often characterized as a one-hit wonder.
