Diana Bellamy (September 19, 1943 – June 17, 2001) was an American character actress, known for her work in stage, film, and television. She gained recognition during the 1980s and mid-2000s for her versatile performances in both comedic and dramatic roles. Bellamy starred as Head Nurse Maggie Poole in the NBC comedy 13 East, Principal Cecilia Hall in Popular, and Mrs. Pananides in Outbreak and Air Force One. Born in Los Angeles, California, on September 19, 1943, Bellamy came from a family with ties to Early Virginia. Her father, Victor Bellamy, was an opera singer turned Western actor. She studied at The University of South Florida and graduated from Southern Methodist University (SMU) with a master's degree in fine arts in 1970.
