Diana Ross (born March 26, 1944) is an American singer and actress. She gained fame as the lead singer of The Supremes, who became Motown's most successful act in the 1960s. The group achieved twelve number-one hit singles on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, including 'Where Did Our Love Go' and 'Stop! In the Name of Love'. After leaving The Supremes in 1970, Ross launched a successful solo career with hit singles like 'Ain't No Mountain High Enough' and 'Reach Out and Touch (Somebody's Hand)'. She also acted in films like 'Lady Sings the Blues' and 'The Wiz'. Ross is considered one of the greatest female vocalists of all time.
