Diane Guerrero

Diane Guerrero (born July 21, 1986) is an American actress known for her roles as Maritza Ramos in Orange Is the New Black and Lina on Jane the Virgin. Born to Colombian parents in Passaic, New Jersey, she was raised in Boston, Massachusetts. Guerrero became an advocate for immigration reform after her family was deported to Colombia while she remained in the United States. She authored the memoir In the Country We Love: My Family Divided, sharing her experience of her parents' detention and deportation. Currently, she stars as Jane in the HBO Max series Doom Patrol and voiced Isabela Madrigal in the 2021 Disney film Encanto.
