Diane Jergens (1935-2018) was an American film and television actress. Born Dianne Irgens, she began her career at the age of 8 when she auditioned for film studios in Hollywood. In 1950, her family relocated to Hollywood. Jergens gained recognition as a member of the Heidt Steppers dancing troupe and later toured as a singer with composer Jimmy McHugh. Her screen debut came in the 1946 film Ginger, and she went on to appear in notable films such as The FBI Story and Desk Set. Jergens also had a recurring role on The George Burns and Gracie Allen Show. She left a lasting impact on the entertainment industry with her versatile performances.
