Diane Lane

Diane Colleen Lane is an American actress born on January 22, 1965, in New York City. She began her acting career at the age of 14 with her film debut in A Little Romance (1979). Despite a setback with the commercial and critical failure of Streets of Fire (1984), Lane made a comeback with notable appearances in The Big Town and Lady Beware (both 1987). However, it was her role in the western miniseries Lonesome Dove (1989) that garnered her a Primetime Emmy Award nomination. Lane further solidified her acting prowess with films like A Walk on the Moon (1999) and The Perfect Storm (2000). Throughout her career, she has taken on a variety of roles in movies such as My Dog Skip, The Glass House, and Hardball (all in 2001).
