She has won an Academy Honorary Award, Grammy Award, Emmy Award, two Golden Globe Awards, and three consecutive Billboard Music Awards for Songwriter of the Year. Warren's breakthrough came in 1985 with the hit song 'Rhythm of the Night' by DeBarge. She made history by being the first songwriter to have seven hits on the Billboard singles chart at the same time, all performed by different artists. With nine number-one songs and 32 top-10 hits on the Billboard Hot 100, Warren is considered one of the most successful songwriters in the world.
