Richard Leslie Christie, born on October 21, 1948, in Long Beach, California, is an American actor best known for his role as Ted Lawson on the 1980s sitcom Small Wonder. Throughout his career, he has appeared in various television shows, including Who's the Boss?, Days of Our Lives, Hunter, Mama's Family, Knots Landing, Newhart, Hart to Hart, The Waltons, The Ropers, and Breaking Bad. In addition to acting, Christie also wrote the screenplay for the 1999 film Molly. Since October 2013, he has been playing the recurring role of Charlie Webber on the CBS daytime drama The Bold and the Beautiful. Christie has also made appearances in films such as The Last Word, Any Which Way You Can, Honky Tonk Freeway, Looker, The Spy Next Door, Undocumented, 50 to 1, and Hell or High Water.
