Dick Latessa
Richard Robert Latessa (September 15, 1929 – December 19, 2016) was an American stage, film, and television actor. Born in Cleveland, Ohio in 1929, Latessa began his acting career in Cleveland before moving to New York in 1959. He made his Broadway debut in 1968 and went on to appear in numerous theater productions including Follies, The Cherry Orchard, Damn Yankees, and Hairspray, for which he won Tony- and Drama Desk awards. Latessa also appeared in several Neil Simon plays and was featured in the 2010 revival of the musical 'Promises, Promises'. His film and television credits include 'The Substance of Fire', 'The Sopranos', and 'Law & Order' among others.
